Welcome to The Fang. This is the official blog for The Goth List, the place to hear the "stream of consciousness." This is also the place to get updates across our entire network of sites.
Spent the last ten days driving myself nuts with new stuff. The ongoing struggle to update my sites is never-ending. The schedule for November is up at the DOOMSDAY TV site. More horror and kaiju madness is in store for those who participate, with the December schedule underway. What's that? Christmas horrors? You got it! To add to the recent developments, we're on MySpace under the "gothlist" profile! If you're interested, stop by, and if you haven't yet, you can also visit us at our Dark Existence profile. The reviews for Doomsday DVD (including the reviews for The Alien Dead, Meet the Feebles and a retrospective for Zombiethon) are in the works. There will also be some updates to existing reviews. Watching: House by the Cemetery (1981) 9/28/07, 11:20am The other reason that I haven't posted here or written any reviews or poetry has finally arrived. Click the above banner...... It's The Halloween Hundred. It is the newest list created by us, this time for all of you out there who love Halloween, whether it be the holiday itself or the entire season. Costumes, makeup, decorations and candy are the flavor of the season, and this one's for all of you - enjoy..... The upcoming review for Peter Jackson's Meet the Feebles has been written and will be posted shortly along with a review for Fred Olen Ray's Alien Dead. The schedule for DOOMSDAY TV is being worked on, with the month of October being updated and complete with a November schedule nearly done. Stay tuned. Keep checking back for further developments and more dark ramblings..... Watching: Nightmare Castle (1965) 9/18/07, 3:22pm One of the two new sites is done. If you're tired of the old and tired television listings where Army of Darkness, Halloween, The Exorcist and An American Werewolf in London are on a rotating schedule, try this alternative. It's by no means a television channel, but the members of the horror community can make it happen. Halloween is around the corner. We all know that......and we're ready to treat you vamps and freaks to our flavor of the holiday. Keep it here..... Watching: Return of the Living Dead (1985) 9/5/07, 11:50pm
Been working on two new websites. One is being developed for the Halloween lover in all of you, and the other..... I'm not divulging until it is live, but it will welcome participation on the part of the horror community for a new experience. Keep it here for more developments..... By the way, that's the reason why there haven't been any updates to Dark Existence and Doomsday DVD. There has been one update to a particular graphic on the Channel 9 Thanksgiving Weekend Marathon page - the television graphic resembles a TV a bit more than the old boxy one. Kinda crappy. L8r. Watching: Zombi 3 (1988) 8/29/07, 10:58am Great news for all goths who like horror movies - select horror DVD reviews from Doomsday DVD are now able to be accessed over at Dark Existence in a series named Gothic Cinema. The air is getting crisp, the sun is disappearing a minute earlier each day, the temperature is dropping.....it can only mean one thing. The Halloween season is upon us. In recent weeks, I've noticed stores beginning to stock up on the sacred holiday decor, crafts, masks..... The craft store that I visited two weeks ago has their entire seasonal section full of Halloween stuff. I haven't been this happy since I visited the party store at the beginning of the summer and found that they keep an entire 75-foot aisle full of their Halloween makeup and masks. See you there.....
